Ice Dragon Rising is the first volume of this series. It tells the story of why, where, how, and when the Ice Dragon force was created, also why a dragon and where did it come from. Also, when was the Ice Dragon created and by whom?

Henry is a British Intelligence officer, who has been seconded to work with a USA CIA officer Captain Tom Stratford. As his career develops Henry realises that somehow, he has acquired the capability to not be seen when in dangerous situations. He finds it a peculiar situation as he has no evidence other than circumstance, his feelings or perceptions. This causes him to be frustrated, particularly as it appears to be automatic, in that he has no direct control of this phenomenon.

Living an intense and dangerous life, dedicated to his work, Henry is in his early 50s Henry when diagnosed as suffering from the early signs of burnout. His doctor says he must slow down, take his allocated leave, and learn how to rest and relax.

Tango Dragon and the Asteroid is the third volume of the Ice Dragon Force stories.

NASA has discovered that a massive asteroid the size of Paris had hurtled into our universe and after weeks of tracking was observed to be heading directly for planet Earth.

World powers and principally the US government have no answers to this threat. Due to a set of diplomatic connections, the problem gets to the ears of the French President, who is extremely keen to be a world leader. He orders his Prime minister to find a solution. His personal assistant happens to be Henry Barton-Jones’s thirty-year-old daughter. She contacts Henry. He contacts his CIA partner Tom Stratford, also the third member of his close-nit team, Jean-Pierre Roux, ex-chief of the Toulouse anti-terrorist force and now the minister responsible for French national security.

Along with NASA, a project is put together using a retired Gemini space shuttle. A crew is found and trained for a suicide mission of taking a nuclear device out into deep space, from where it will be launched towards the asteroid. Its detonation is intended to push the asteroid off its current course. This will only work provided the shuttle goes further into space than it was designed for. After releasing the missile, their only hope is to manoeuvre the shuttle behind the moon for protection from the nuclear blast that threatens to damage the shuttle and also cook the crew in space.

The crew’s training progresses smoothly, when Henry discovers Ricardo, a drugs baron terrorist agitator, is planning to hijack the project to blackmail the world’s governments into transferring multi-billions of dollars into his various secret numbered bank accounts. Ultimate Suspicion is volume four of the Ice Dragon Force Series. The returning shuttle is out of fuel. Travelling too fast to land at either Huston air base or Cape Canaveral air base, NASA control advises the pilot to glide down as gently as possible finally ditching in the Atlantic Ocean off the East coast of the USA. The shuttle breaks up on impact, However, as Jean-Pierre Roux is a crew member, he is able to dematerialise the shuttle and crew at the moment of impact on the sea. In the confusion of the vast explosion of water, he rematerialises the shuttle. He and the remaining crew are recovered except for Ricardo who Jean-Pierre saw escaping from the sinking shuttle while Jean-Pierre was helping the pilot to the surface.

In Ultimate Suspicion, Henry guesses that Ricardo with all his resources and nine lives has somehow survived but expects him to lie low while he reorganises himself and then months later turn up like a bad penny. Within days, Henry is caught by surprise, as Ricardo demonstrates he is back in town by exploding a government limousine in the street outside the French Elysée Palace.

This story leads to Henry discovering that Ricardo has picked up his earlier plan to blackmail world powers with a stolen French nuclear bomb he has already placed inside the massive particle accelerator as it was being built on the French/Geneva border. As the particle accelerator is being prepared for its maiden run, Ricardo accidentally triggers the bomb that scientists expect to result in turning this planet Earth into a black hole, eventually swallowing our entire universe.

Jean-Pierre Roux by nature of his job as anti-terrorist chief had always avoided any publicity. As he got the crew out of the sinking shuttle he was seen as the main hero.  Like Henry, Jean-Pierre believes Ricardo is alive and looking for revenge. Given the obvious dangers, Jean-Pierre is desperate to get out of the limelight of the paparazzi, TV, and radio interviews. Nonetheless, they are quickly confronted by their old adversary. Henry watches it for himself but knowing Ricardo’s uncanny capability to escape death, he is not convinced until he has absolute proof.

Henry’s wife is picked up by a salesperson for a test drive of an Aston Martin sports car. Within minutes they are caught in a serious accident that was apparently premeditated. Henry suspects Ricardo is behind the attempted assignation. He thinks it is his pregnant wife Charlotte who Ricardo was after to punish Henry for disrupting another of his world of constant blackmail schemes. Later he discovers it is Phillabella posing as a saleswoman he aimed to kill. With serious internal injuries, the surgeons cannot save her life. Henry saves Phillabella by dematerialising her, and placing her inside the molecular structure of the crashed Aston Martin until her body completes its own healing. During this healing process, all her genetic code errors are corrected. When Phillabella is healed and emerges from the car, she is stunningly beautiful with all her facial birthmarks removed. Before her attempted assassination, she always felt Henry pitied her because of her facial deformities. Now she had a perfect body from top to toe she intended to seduce Henry and take him away from Charlotte, in so doing she turns Henry’s life into a walking nightmare and Charlotte is not immune to the dangers of Phillabella’s antics.

The Pine Dock Secret is volume 6 of the Ice Dragon Series. A short holiday break in a traditional log cabin on the banks of Lake Winnipeg, Canada, evolves into Henry Barton-Jones the new Ice Dragon Force Master being involved inunravelling a mystery of an alien spaceship. The local villagers say it looks like a high-performance sports car.

This is the clue that leads Henry to suspect the truth. He suspects Phillabella is involved, which becomes apparent when she is hit in the shoulder by a ricocheting bullet from a hunter’s rifle. Phillabella refuses to say what she is doing in the village of Pine Dock.

Gradually she admits to her objective of finding an enormous treasure she believes was buried in the Pine Dock village graveyard during WWII. Henry then uncovers a terrorist group that has been after the treasure for the past thirty years, and now terrorising the villagers to divulge where the treasure worth $billion is hidden. A trail leading from France, Germany, Holland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and then to an Amazonian jungle village, to the Bayeux tapestry, to a shipyard in Rio de Janeiro and back to Lake Winnipeg, all hold the secret of Pine Dockalien spacecraft and the whereabouts of the treasure.

Which is expected to be released in mid December 2022. – Following Phillabella’s game playing, intended to trick Henry and his associate Tom Stratford into leading her to the Pine Dock treasure, she becomes involved, and though not directly responsible, she is, nevertheless implicated in the death of Tom’s first great love and unbeknown to him the mother of his newly discovered 28-year-old son. – This is the end of the road for Phillabella.

Henry finally gets her to understand she is headed for a life of crime and will probably waste most of her life in prison.

Henry realises she relies on her beauty and intelligence to get what she wants but is completely mixed up in her head. This results in her constant failures and messing up her life. Phillabella is persuaded to accept Henry’s help to get herself sorted out. She identifies that where she went wrong was at 6 years old when she learnt one of her ancestors was a Templar knight. She became infatuated with training herself in fighting with a knight’s broad sword and replicating the worst of the Templar battle atrocities against anyone who gets in her way. Henry transports her back to the late 11^th century in a Templar camp during the build-up to the Templar attack and sacking of Jerusalem. Her purpose there is to understand the brutal and sordid thuggery of Templar knights, and how they died on the battlefield, were murdered in their beds in power grabs or burnt at the stake at the behest of King Philip IV of France.
