WHAT Robert DENTON says!

Why you should read these books?

Robert Denton has lived a challenging and rich life full of mistakes, and regrets, much as other people experience.

One difference is that before becoming an author of 12  books he was a businessman and drove himself into burnout. Refusing to sit on his butt, he analysed his life to find what he had done to get himself into such a mess and burnout. In developing his skills as a writer, yes, he had to do his apprenticeship, making mistakes and dealing with publishers’ rejections and disappointment. none of his experiences will go to waste.

Many are woven into the Ice Dragon Master stories to be challenges faced by various characters.

Does this mean the characters and the stories are a reflection of Robert Denton’s life?

Yes, absolutely. Robert found as the volumes began to increase, and the style of the series grew, he could feel in writing these stories he was in effect writing certain elements of his own character and his own life story, which became apparent in both the male and female characters.

Robert says that in writing his own mistakes experienced into the characters, he also writes in the messages and learning of how to avoid those same mistakes again, which he says in his own life he discovered had reared up in all manner of different forms and situations without him realising until it was too late, and that he says, was largely due to his catastrophic burnout. He says by observing his mistakes, and how and why he came to make them he understood most were due to him thinking he knew what he was doing but did not know that he did not know what he thought he knew. Robert hopes those reading his books will gain this important information and help themselves improve their own chances of success and high performance without high stress and burnout.
